1. Hello

49 years old, recently moved to Chelmsford and looking to join or form an original band. I've a wide taste in music and would consider pretty much anything, just not interested in playing covers. Am as into prog as I am dub, funk, jazz, post-rock, ambient, drone and experimental music.  If there are any other bassists in the area would also be up for forming a bass duo/trio.

We are also looking for far-out sounding acts...contact us.
As and when we can, we will put on a night of wonderful live music.
We will book acts we find interesting. We don't have a music policy as such, but we're looking for leftfield stuff...something a bit out of the ordinary. This could be psychedelic, shoegaze, post-rock, experimental music, ambient sounds, avant garde weirdness, electronic bleeps, noise rock, drones...perhaps you hate labels (eh?) - well, you get the idea.

We're not opposed to singer-songwriter performers...but we're thinking far out here... We're not looking for indie bands. They have plenty of places to play already.
We're not bothered how cool you are, or how often you've gigged before.
If you fancy being part of one of our nights then drop us a line and link to your music.

thanks

4. Hi Samuel

would you be interested in trading it for three cheap pedals? I've got a behringer echo machine and a behringer vintage phaser, both mint condition and also a Rocktek chorus that's a little bit scruffy but sounds great.

thanks

5. Hello

I've got an EHX Bass Microsynth pedal, still boxed with manual, power supply etc in mint condition. Bought it about 5 years ago but only ever used it for a few practice sessions.

I'll sell it for £100 or swap for a decent gigbag or hardcase.

Cheers

6. Does any fancy swapping an SWR Workingpro 10 for an Ampeg B100. It's ten years old but looks like new apart from a few frayed threads on the handle. 100 watts, Blue chequerboard tolex, backported, big warm room filling tone.

I'll be sorry to see it go but I don't drive and need something more practical due to a disability.

7. I don't drive and as much as I love my Ampeg B100 it's not very portable when you've got a gig-bag over your shoulder.

I really like the look of the minimark as I prefer to EQ from my bass. Is there anything as basic and as powerful out there without the steep price?
