Tick Tick Boom are a well established classic rock covers band and require a lead guitarist. After nearly eight years with the band Mark has decided to step down. He's honouring the gigs we have booked but we need to find a replacement as soon as possible in order to allow him to persue pastures new. We're therefore looking for someone to take over lead duties. Additional vocals would also be an asset. We play pubs, clubs and festivals and average 30-40 gigs a year, mainly around the Burton, Nottm and Leics area. Mark and TTB are parting on good terms and we would like to thank him for his sterling work over the years and wish him the best of luck and good wishes for whatever the future holds. So I gave all of the band a diary & asked them to put all the dates they couldn't do in them . Yesterday I booked 12 gigs with several pubs & let the band know , Only to get a text from the guitarist to let me know that He couldn't do 5 of them..grrrrrrr!!!!! He expected me to phone him while I was in front of the landlord booking the gig to see if He was available.
I'm thinking of turning the band into a Cooperative ( mainly having a list of guitarists ) does anyone else do this & do you think He has a right to object ?

Nice one mate. You'll have a great time! We're playing a "pre-download" gig at the Tudor Hotel on the Thursday. It ain't Download I know, but it's Donington, and the closest WE'LL ever get !!!!!

I hadn't realised you could actually CHANGE the strings on a bass! I gave it a try. Doesn't it sound different?

Guy walked up to us after a gig and said, "You're the best band they've had here. And they've had some sh*t!"

I've ordered loads of stuff from Thomann over the years and have always received superb and speedy service. Once ordered a bass cab online at around midnight on a Sunday. Received an email at 7am the next day to say the item had been shipped! It arrived on the Wednesday morning. Excellent service!
