Driving down to visit BassBuddha on Tuesday

I live in Denmark - just a little north of Copenhagen...

If you sell your Bacchus, save your money if you want the *unplayed, unused, absolutely factory mint condition* trans Emerald Green 1994 Guild Pilot Pro 5 shown in the above foto - I'm selling it for the same 1600.Euro price you're asking for your Baccus...

A trade is tempting, but not what I'm looking for on this moment - I have a custom shop BCR I need to use the funds for.

Keep in touch if you have any interest and good luck with your sale...:)

I had a new guild bass a couple of weeks ago (https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/438065-nbd-tomorrow-hopefully-the-saga-continues/) but it had to go back as there was an issue with the neck.

I should be receiving a replacement within a week or so, so hopefully the new one won't have any issues. I'll post some pics when it comes as it is a bit of a looker.

    Hi Captain Pickguard...

I hit that link and read that thread - sorry that your Starfire only went to 9 and was a dud...I hope the replacement goes to 13 and actually does get there within "a week or so" and not the 21 days we all know it's going to take OOPS to actually deliver it - to the house at the end of your block, on the opposite side of the street where the weirdo with the australian accent lives...🤞 I look forward to seeing more of it...😁

  3. This arrived at my home today - Boris Johnson sent it over to me...I can understand Brexit, but why you people allowed this Pilot to fly away is beyond me...

This isn't like your toothbrushes, you know - you don't just throw such things over your shoulders, devil may care...

    Fools - it's mine now.

  4. Hello...😊

Any other B.C. Rich fans here other than myself...?

So, back in february 2018, I ordered a custom-built Mockingbird bass from the B.C. Rich Custom Shop over in United Trump...The official BCR luthier, Ron Estrada, took my order and a deposit of 2000.USD and informed me that my bass would be done in 6 to 9 months...

Looong story very short - on this moment I have reason to believe that the bass itself has been completed and Ron is waiting on the custom flightcase I asked for...Delays directly related the an ownership change of the BCR company, Ron's incredibly unpredicable "job priority list" and the Kung-Flu aside, I suspect I will be contacted for final payment and delivery any day now...And by that, I mean anytime between today and 01. january 2021...

  5. Just to back you all up on this topic, I just recently accquired a Cort GB74JJ "Aqua Blue" - I went for it based on sight alone...👍

The single bad thing about this wonderful instrument is the ridiculously hideous Cort logo - the company really should re-design their logo if they are going to put it on such pretty basses...🤩

    Cheers,

    Eric.

  6. Hello Gentlemen and fellow Guild fans/owners...🍻

Allow me to brazenly state that I consider your B Series basses to be mere erotica - softcore porn at best...😉

However, fear not - shortly, I will provide you with some hardcore Guild porn and send you through puberty all over again...🤪

It will be just like when you were 13 and found where your Dad kept his dirty magazines stashed - you will overload and become raisins...🤯

    Prepare yourselves...😎

    • Haha 1
  7. Thank you, Dad3353, baldwinbass and SpondonBassed, for your kind welcome - it's nice to be acknowledged...😉

Today will be a GREAT day as a "new" bass I bought will be delivered to me - if only I knew exactly when the FedEx truck would arrive...🎸

I am very excited and I will share some fotos when it's unpacked...😁

  8. Hi to anyone who may read this...

I'm a bassist/bass collector living near Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm a Gen X from '67, interested mostly in rock, hard rock, heavy metal, technical speed metal and am stuck in the '80s as far as music goes...😁 Two of my most major bass influences are Steve Harris and Dave Ellefson...

I've joined Basschat primarily because it's here in Europe (as opposed to Talkbass) and I hope to find a bass or two to buy from other members in the classifieds - and I also have a couple to sell myself...

If any if you good people have a Guild Pilot bass in "good to mint condition" that you would like to sell, I'd be very happy to hear from you...

I am also interested in certain US made or Japanese made B.C. Rich basses - especially a Wave...

Anyway, enough about me - now I'd like to take a good look atound this place...

    Cheers,

    Eric 😁
