Hi, I have just fitted Rotosound medium flatwounds to my hagstrom Viking bass and they fit well, apart from the g string, where you almost lose all the silk around the machine head although this does not appear to cause a problem. These strings are a vast improvement on the round wound that come as standard. rontan
