Hello everyone, quite new to bass playing (or trying to anyway,)  i have a quick question, the Fender jazz bass 50th anniversary ltd edition 1996,  gold hardware ( beautiful looking bass guitar ) is it a collectors item ? (wall hanger) or a players guitar or both, all the bands ive seen and videos ive watched ive never seen one bass player using one, thanks.

ps, the reason im asking is that ones came up and im really interested in it.
