How can you safeguard against scams on Fb Marketplace?
There's a bass for sale on there I really would like, but I don't know how to safeguard against getting scammed. 😟

  The problem with not using 'friends and family' is that it incurrs costs, so if you agree to pay a higher price to the seller this may not be an issue. I have conducted bank transfers, but I reference the name of the person and the item on the invoice when conducting the transfer so there is some traceability. Most people like this as there is protection both ways.

  Ask to see the instrument via whatsaap video call, weigh up the owner.
  
  Ask for a personalised invoice showing both your names. I've done this for people, its not difficult.
