I bought it used a few years ago to use for bass and although it worked fine it wasn't the best for what I needed. I did mod it by changing a few components to make it more suited for bass. This improved the sound by extending the lower frequencies and I managed to get a good useable sound out of it. However now I use either a Markbass Compressore, a TC Electronic Specra Comp or nothing at all so the CS-3 has been sitting in a box not being used. I have tested it and it still works fine with 9v battery or power supply, however there is an issue with the switch. It doesn't always turn on or off first time. Not sure why but that is reflected in the price. £25 Happy to post at buyers expense.
