Huge gig goer to be fair; average 15 -20 gigs a year; last saw Hugh Cornwall support the great Wilko Johnson, Norman Roy Watt is definitely a good watch.
Huge Stranglers fan ; and JJ Burnel inspired me to choose the bass when I was around 12 yrs old and follow these guys on tour every year.
Managed also to see the great Victor Wooten last year; what a gig that was.

Hi all just joined so go easy, owned my first bass at about 12 yrs of age felt it was the instrument for me, I own a 1987 Ernie ball music man , fender precision, and an Ibanez Sr 500.
Currently not in a band but gigged for 20yrs plus, with various cover bands. Still enjoy the instrument no finer way to release the stress.
Looking forward to reading the topics , picking up tips etc .
cheers

This is my music man, 1987 birds eye maple edition; been through some fun times as well as very sad , and played by the great funky Pete on many occasions, I could never make it sound the same , but love this bass and the sound it gives.
