Bought this bass a couple of years ago and haven't played it all. A lot of work done on it by Kevin Harrington. (Kevin is a very highly regarded instrument maker here in Ireland).

New bridge, paired back the neck. I spoke to kevin at the time. He remembered the bass, told me it would be years before it needed a set up and I literally haven't played it because I haven't learned how to play it.

Since I don't play upright, I had a friend who is a professional upright jazz player inspect it for me. He said it was an amazing bass and urged me to buy it.

The Bobelock case is top quality. It's fully padded with 1" foam, has lots of pockets, and is covered in a nylon canvas cloth exterior. I had it shipped from America. It is completely unused. I won't accept offers below €2500/£2250. There was a lot of money spent by the original owner upgrading the bass and it's in mint condition, as is the case.

God dayum!! 

Just bought a mxr bass octave deluxe from steff. He posted to Dublin. Pedal is in great condition. Arrived safely and on time. Very happy. Recommend!

Bought this new in December ‘17 for £850 (€945). Bought it to play a fast sax solo for college transcription exam. Fast, slim neck, 16.5mm string spacing and 5 strings, 24 frets were great for the speed and range of the solo. Only used for practice and performance of the solo and has been lying idle since. Never gigged. It’s good as new, no dings or scratches.

Hi I bought an NYC sadowsky pj 5 a couple of months back and love the sound but have been been getting some hand pain due to the stiffness of the strings (I like to dig in and get that raspy sound quite a bit) The gauge is the same I'm used to 45-125 but the strings were new to me stainless steel blue label sadowsky. Been liking the stainless steel so I checked online recommendations for some low tension ones (I want to keep the same gauge) So got it set up, action is now low as possible and it's wearing Dunlop super brights 45-125. Much less stiffness for my plucking hand to fight against but strings are still not as loose as I want. Bar switching to a lower gauge could u guys recommend any strings that would have lower tension than Dunlop super brights? Been reading about dr hi beams wud they be better for what I'm after? Also, are stainless steel strings just stiffer in general? Any help wud be greatly appreciated. Thanks
