The rattling is definitely at the bridge, the saddle specifically. It's an Ibanez SR306EB

I've just restrung my six string for the first time. However, the string manufacturers obviously intended the C string to be the longest, my tuners are placed such that the C is parallel with the B and therefore closer to the bridge. As a result the string shifts a little bit in the bridge saddle and I believe that's what's causing the buzzing sound. Should I just cut the string shorter than intended? (It's currently about two inches past the tuner). Thanks.

That's what I ended up getting in the end (the black labels). So far I'm definitely not disappointed!

Looking to get some new strings to replace the dodgy factory strings that came with my Ibanez SDGR. I plan on trying out the whole "soaking strings in alcohol" thing once they die to see if I can get a bit more longevity out of them. Any cheap-ish recommendations?

Harley basses generally seem to punch well above their weight. There are plenty of happy JB and PB owners here, but I've seen little if any mention of the BZ range. They certainly have some good user reviews on Thomann. Anyone?
Yeah, that's what I'm seeing as well. I dunno - almost seems to good to be true. I guess they're kinda the european version of rondo, which by all accounts are wonder-basses for the price. Thomann has a great return policy though so I might just take the plunge.

Another bass I have recently been looking at is the GSR206, how do these two compare?
Thanks
