Thanks for all. And does anybody know if there are presets of Skunk songs anywhere? Or how to set them? I've tried with IA, but it says extrange things.
-
I only knew the Drop. I had it 4-5 years ago, but I didn't like it. Bass sounded unreal, but for only two songs wasn't bad solution. I've seen that HX has some pitch pedals. Do you recommend me to use Ricochet in addition to HX? And not the HX pich? Thanks

I actualized to 3.80 with the first turn on and was reading about update and it's true, ZeroAmp Bass DI is based in SansAmp. I tried two drop pedals as well. Another thing I forgot is I need a delay for Secretly. So, drop, delay, preamp...maybe switch controller... better to work with the HX Stomp. I don't find a pedal for Twisted, wah or synth. Do you know? Thanks

Too complicated for my knowledge about that. Now I've got a HX Stomp and almost convinced to do it with it, but firstly I wanted to do with pedals. As I mencioned, I've got some pedals. Exactly, ebs comp, ebs dphaser, ebs chorus, digitech synth wah, ebs basiq, boss octave oc2, After Shock Distortion and two more I was going to sell like Mooer Mooer Envelope Analog Auto Wah and Boss Octave OC3. I've got them but not worked with them. I gradually bought them second-hand at a good price. I only use the multicomp with another band. Skunk Anansie project is still starting. I don't have a Samsap or similar. And I don't know if I would need a multi switch controller to turn some pedals on or off at the same time. But a friend said to me that it was going to be more practical to do it with a multi, so I've got hx stomp and trying to learn. And I think to sell the pedals less some of them like comp, octave and a wah. Do you think I could try it with the pedals I've got and a small board? EHX Bass Big Muff > After Shock Distortion? Digitech bass synth wah > I've got it MXR Phase 95 > EBS Dphase? No SanSamp Probably I would need the Digitech Drop you mencioned, becuase maybe 2-3 songs must be dropped. But If I get done presets for the hx stomp, I wouldn't complicate my life, due to my experience with effects. Thanks to all for the help

It's my first time with a digital multi effects processor. Are there presets of Cass effects? Of pedals or full songs? Thanks
-
Hi, If you have to play in a Skunk Anansie tribute band, you'll think about single pedals or to get a digital multi effects pedalboard? I prefer analog sound to digital, but maybe with single pedals I have more work and cost. It will depend on songs, of course. I will need compressor, chorus, overdrive, fuzz, delay, envelope filter...may a multi foot switch to active more than one pedal at the same time... At this momnent, I've got some pedals: compressor, synth wah, envelope filter, OD and fuzz (Shock Attack), octaver, chorus...not delay, not power supply and not switch controller. And a new HX Stomp. And not experience with effects. Did anybody play SA music and can share his/her experience? Thanks in advance

I've tried today to check the voltage when previous stop of working. I took old batteries, the same of last Saturday, and I was been playing. As the batteries recover, they work at first, even though they sound bad. After a while, the bass stopped playing when active. I removed the batteries and they showed about 8 V (together, like 4V each one), but the voltage gradually increases. With the batteries connected, it showed 0 V. What a sh..., I wanted to test them without opening the tap.

Fender American Deluxe jazz bass and American Elite Precision bass.

I've already got a TRS jack, but it's not possible to measure the voltage. 0V. Imposible in these basses.
-
But are you talking about Batt-O-Meter by Keith McMillen or any multimeter? I tested them connected in the bass, in my American Deluxe Jazz Bass, and voltage was 14,60V, without disconnecting the batteries. I disconnected both, and the voltage was 8.17V in both (16.34V). I tested in American Elite Precision and connected 10,61V, disconnected 11.65V (5.80+5.85). I had to change this bass to pasive last Saturday. So, it's not a good idea to test batteries connected to active previous? I wanted to test them regularly without openning the tap. Is it not possible like in this video with a TRS jack? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyUWE0JLpVU&t=371s Thanks a lot

I've got a multimeter, so I am not gonna buy anything. I would like to know the recommended voltage to change the batteries and if it is ok to measure the voltage with a trs Jack. Greets

Thanks everybody. I've seen a video on youtube and one guy used a stero jack/TRS to check the batteries without opening the cover tap of the batteries. Does it work always or only with some basses? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyUWE0JLpVU&t=307s

Hi, Which is the minimum voltage to change the batteries in an active bass if it works at 18V? It's Fender Precision American Elite. I forgot to check them and yerterday I had to change to passive. I've checked batteries today and they have 10,42V. Too low. One IA says that it works well till 12-14V. I would like to check in order to avoid what happened yesterday. I've had to open back tap. Is there any way to check it without opening the back tap? Thanks in advance

PURE models have hifi tweeter, P models the new piezzo. Maybe the "non mini" replaces 121H, but you have the same 121 PURE as MINI with same speaker, hifi tweeter, power and response. The old CMD 121P was different to 121H, especially because of the tweeter, but new ones 121 PURE and MINI 121 PURE only weight and dimensions.

This is what Markbass answered me: "Both the MB58R CMD 121 PURE and MB58R MINI CMD 121 PURE feat the same amp, speaker and hi-fi tweeter. The larger size of MB58R CMD 121 PURE gives a bit more bottom-end than the MINI but difference is fairly subtle." We could supose that. I think that has no sense, more dimensions and weight if they are almost the same. If it's fairly subtle, maybe I'll go with the cheapest and smallest.

Yes, MINI is cheaper. 1000€ to 1200€, more or less. I'm thinking about PURE model because of the tweeter. I've got the previous CMD121P and I hate piezo tweeter. The one which has similar price than the one it replaces is the MINI CMD121P, 795€, but less power, 150W 8ohm and 300W 4ohm. The previous has 300 8ohm and 500 4ohm. It's still for sale in version IV. https://www.markbass.it/product/mini-cmd-121p-iv/ I'm doubting about changing from 1x12 to 2x10. Not sure. Thanks and greets

Hi, I was checking new MB combos and I couldn't see the difference between Mini and not mini in CMD 121 models. I can see the difference between P and Pure, but both models have two versions, mini and normal. The mini is smaller and ligther, but same speaker, tweeter, power, response... MB58R MINI CMD 121 PURE MB58R CMD 121 PURE What could I loose with mini model? Thanks in advance

Hello, I've got a Tecamp Puma 112 and the tweeter doesn't work. It has an eich CT-1 4" cone driver, so maybe it was replaced before. Where could I get a new one and knowing price? Thanks a lot in advance Greets
