That this has not sold yet is beyond me. It is literally below half price for a bass that is on par with a US Sadowsky. If I lived in the UK I would have bought this ages ago.

It has to be a bolt on. I still look at neck-through basses and sometimes get tempted. Then I remember that I seldom get the response and attack

to my liking. I once bought a Tobias signature six-string and regretted it right away in the first band practice. 😅

So, preferably 4 strings and passive.

Because I don't want the extra hassle of posting a large item abroad. It'll also cost more than I've budgeted, I've sent a couple of pedals abroad recently and they were held at customs for weeks. I've decided not to put myself through that stress.

That is the heaviest bass I have seen if 6,5 kgs is correct. 

Beautiful bass. What is "select hardwoods" for the body? That is not very precise no?  At 3,7 kgs that is very light for a 5 string.

Could be made in the Tokai factory then since they had a jazz bass model with that designation.

I have one of these upgraded with bart quadcoils and bart preamp and it is my main bass. Really good value for money these basses. GLWTS.
