My only real gripe is the extra bit of material after the last fret.

That's super interesting as I though the same thing...I get it got in the way with upward slap pop's as I think in general its a great bass for slap but I found that a bit awkward...

Ahh the 5 I've not heard about so will look out for that

  4. Picked up this recently and never played a 5 before but I’m a convert…and probably one of the best 5 strings around from Roscoe

playability and huge range of sounds

waiting for someone to claim it was there’s 🥴

  5. Cheers all - They feel like sunbeams but I’ve only just moved from 34/4 to a 35/5 scale bass

I've not seen the ends like that on any string I’ve used from the 5 or 6 brands I’ve used so a bit unusual hence the ask

ill maybe cut one when they’re finished with to see if the core is round but don’t think they are

  6. I've recently acquired a very nice 5 string Keith Roscoe SKB plus...

The strings probably need replacing some point soon...I was convinced they are Sunbeams round core but have a barb like end which I've not seen on the various strings I've used before so maybe this makes them easier to pin point who makes em?

Any ideas? all brass ferrels no clues there..

    🤔

  7. I've already spent too much with Will already but yes its a great site and a lot of stock changing

Mainly used which is great....problem is new stuff comes up too tempting..

Great to deal with and I'm spoilt as 20mins to both BassBros and Bass Direct 🤐

Mainly just basses, if you want accessories or parts maybe not

So far I've chopped and changed

    Fender Jazz Japan

    Music Man Stingray

Genzler array combo with the 1x10 array cab perfect for home and goofing around with chums

I no have a Roscoe SKB 5 string with in Mahogany and a Koa top 😍

Appointment only but all good so far no complaints

  8. Hi

Being a bit of a guitar player 🤐 I used spark amp software which allows you to import YouTube or Apple Music and show a chord interactive tab but I can see this is available for bass

Is there any such software as I guess this is asked often but tech moves on

    Any advise thankfully received

  9. last price drop £1300 no offers.

Initial sale fallen through -  still for sale and will include generic hard case and reduced to £1400

Selling this quite lovely Stingray with a fabulous satin Birdseye maple neck..it really does have some great detail which was a thing in the later 80's to mid 90's

I though this was going to be a keeper and to be honest I'm still have mixed feelings about it but a chance meeting with ACG necks has swung me a bit.

This is in great condition with a small nick on the front and some very slight under arm fading which is near impossible to photo...a swirl where some genius undid one end of the battery cover and the moved it around. Any additional pics please shout.

Original listing on BassBros here with much better pics https://bassbros.co.uk/sold-basses/1995-ernie-ball-music-man-stingray-4-3eq/

This has recently booked in with one of the best set-up guys in the UK, at GT Service...I have a full report from Peter..it had some fret levelling and general set-up work as is the best stingray I've played from a bunch...Did I mention that neck detail?!😍 This was not cheap and usual waiting times of a month or 2. I will include the report in the sale
