It kind of makes sense, but to be honest I don't really know enough about this to understand fully.
Just had a play around with it as you've got me all paranoid but there are no problems with intonation or sound or abnormal string tension. I'd like to stress that there is nothing wrong with the bass!

I've never even noticed that before! I'm the second owner of this bass and haven't had it set up since I bought it so I imagine it must have been the guy I bought it from that set it up like this. Regardless, it doesn't affect the playability or sound of the bass at all, I've never even noticed it! If it bothered someone they could always change it

Great condition (minus a small scratch on the neck and some small dings on the headstock finish) and a lovely playing bass. I just need some cash! It has a black scratchplate on but the original chrome one will be included as well.
