1. Hello all, I’ve got here this amazing Ibanez Musician Bass (MC824 DS) built 1992.

I would keep this bass if it wasn’t for the position of its knobs. I’m a pick player and they are always in the way.

This series was only built for the Japanese market. It’s an amazing instrument with an inmense array of tones. In passive Mode it has a passive tone knob. In active Mode it has a 2 band EQ. To me passive Mode was more than enough.

The bass is located in Mainz / Germany. Sending it to the UK is no problem.

I also accept trades.

Below find a video where this model is being tested.

2. I am offering here this truly amazing Alpher fretless. Over the past 30 years I have always tried again and again to feel confortable with 5 strings. Apparently these years have made me older, but not wiser. Again and again I have to find out, that 4 strings are my thing.

This bass is incredible. It sounds and sings so good. It clearly has been designed as a solo player, as it comes with a hi C and a D-Tuner. It is mint condition.

Here some specs:
tuned e to c with drop d tuner
33 inch scale
body black limba
maple burl top
wenge/veneer in between
burl maple neck
ebony board
x2 custom wizard jazz pickups in custom positioning with black limba wood cover
ramp in between pickups
16.5mm spacing at bridge
hipshot hardware
3 band preamp John East SPM 2

Trade value around 1.200 GBP

I am looking for a fretless 4 stringer (fretted basses are also possible, if you have something, offer it). Mainly Alpher or ACG.

The Bass is located in Mainz Germany. A gig case is included. Shipping costs to GB are around 26 € (with GLS).

3. Hello from Mainz in Germany,

I've got here a really amazing Le Fay Herr Schwarz. Although I'm listing it at around £ 1.500,-, I am mainly looking for a good fretless at about the same value.

THIS MEANS THAT I AM MAINLY WANTING TO TRADE IT.

I mostly prefer ACG basses, but just offer me anything that you think might match. I'm open to (almost) anything.

Here some specs:

Body Ash
Neck Padouk
Fretboard Rosewood
Scale 34"
Frets 22

The bass is passive with two tone blends that always work. They "serve" two different capacitors that can be used alone or be combined. This alone already gives loads of tonal options.
The electronic works on two different levels.

On the first level you have a 4 way button that combines the four coils differently (in series): 1. Bridge PU coils, 2. The 2 inner coils, 3. Neck PU coils, 4. The 2outer coils. In this level the bass is louder and has more deep mid punch.

On the second level the switches beneath the pickups are activated (the four way button doesn't work). The switches turn the coils on and off. All off and the bass is muted. This means that you can combine coils as you like. In this level the bass sounds clearer and more transparent.

The bass comes in it's own case.

Cheers!
Pawel
