My maple neck is 8.4 pounds It’s just  over the fresh hold for me I’m actually looking for a rosewood board this would have me great too  

Cool bass if this was lighter i would have done a deal with my maple p 

All original comes with original case really lightweight about 8.4 pounds in nice condition any questions just ask may consider part exchange with a nice high end or rosewood board 70s precision bass Christmas price drop £2900

"ES" is indeed said to mean entered special. But apparently it meant that these instruments were meant to be used for displays and demonstration. I've mainly seen sunburst with this marking, which means it's not a custom color thing.

 

I've owned a '66 P, and it's genuinely the most characterfull P I've played so far.

Do you have any information you can share about the history of the bass and maybe some specs?  Having the pictures is great, but more info would be even more helpful, for instance one picture seems to show the edge of a bridge "ashtray", but it doesn't appear in any of the other pictures.

Here is my all original 1966 fender precision bass in custom colour candy apple red it’s a beautiful bass strung with la Bella flats really low action it sounds and plays amazing any questions just ask I would prefer collection will possibly consider another old p bass plus a chunk of cash my way
