1. This is my first time selling through Basschat so you'll have to trust me - I'm very trustworthy :D . I usually sell through evil-bay (493 star rating) and this will find its way on there if I don't get any interest here.

I'm selling my TC Electronic BH550 - a great little amp with the cool Tone Print feature. Lots of fun to play with various effects and store 2 on board at a time. The amp itself is also superb. Great for playing out live, or at home as a practise amp as it has both headphone and aux facilities and will happily operate without being attached to a cab.

There's a great review of these here: https://www.guitarin...800-bass-heads/

You can get a new one for about £450 at the moment - mine is in great condition, no real sign of wear at all as I've only really used it as a practise amp at home.

I'm based in Brighton (well, just outside - Portslade)

2. hi everyone

I'm a long time reader, first time poster - but I have just completed my first bitsa 'Fender' Precision Bass.

Mighty Mite neck from ebay - never mounted but gloss (probably poly) finish and a decal already applied - the plan was a '62 clone but I couldn't find a cheap neck with 7.25" profile so I had to settle for 9".
Body is from guitarbuild website - made in uk - 3 piece Alder; I've finished it in a tru oil.
Original Fender parts for most of the hardware: vintage bridge, vintage tuning machines, original '62 pickup, string tree, strap buttons, neck plate
Cheap knobs and scratchplate (celluloid top)
Strung with Rotosound 77s

I'm pretty pleased with it...
