I'd say you did. It's the first version of the Hammerhead. The Alpher model has a strap button relocated under the top horn on the body.

And yes it sounds unreal. Great punch out of the p/up. Especially in the humbucker position.

An absolute gorgeous bass. Handmade by the guys in Alpher basses. Real punchy pickup on this with the split coil. Very comfortable and lightweight. Purchased this from Alpher last year. This bass is the first of the Hammerhead range which has now been moved into production on the Alpher. 

Pheral - The guys told me that it's only the neck that has been manufactured by a 3rd party company. The Body and all electrics and hardware are all done in house.

What is the neck like on these? Jazz neck? Obv it’s a jazz style model. But is it like a fender jazz neck?

Excellent condition. Bought from Bass Direct last year. Selling to fund new Rig. Just bought a Status Graphite a couple of months ago so this hasn't been used since then.

I had actually sold it to a guy last year and he tried to relic it. As you can see not a good job. I bought the bass back off him as I loved it so much. It doesn't effect the sound in any way and was never dropped... This was a case of someone getting a blade and trying to scrape the paint away. I had looked into getting it fixed up but I haven't found anyone who does it.
