  1.

Boss BF-2 Bass Flanger Condition is Used.

As you can see it is showing its age but is in working order.

All the pots work well (no crackling). Occasionally the jack ports need tightening.

With the classic BOSS BF-2 Flanger, a flanging effect is produced by combining the original signal with an electronically delayed signal. Using four controls, you can tailor a variety of sounds--from dynamic jet-plane effects to short delay, chorus and vibrato sounds.

Heavily used but works well. See photos for cosmetic condition

  5. For sale is my beautiful Musicman Stingray 5 string in autumn sparkle burst with hardcase.

This bass was made in 2003, has a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. White pickguard and chrome hardware.

The bass plays and sounds great. But it has picked up a number of dings which I have tried to reflect in the pictures. There are several on the body on one small ding on the neck which doesn't effect playability at all.

There is also a small amount of paint flaking from the body near the neck, again see pictures.

Given these cosmetic details I would recommend coming to take a look at the bass so that you can check it over. I'm based in Hackney. However, rest assured the bass plays and sounds as it should.

Looking for £850. Not interested in trades.

I've tried to put as many pictures up as possible.

I'm selling as this has been replaced with a custom bass and I don't have the space to keep it around.

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

    Cheers

    Matt

  6. Grab a bargain.

This is a great pedal, brand new condition, only used a few times. Unfortunately, I love my workhorse compressor too much so this isn’t going to get used.
It has been in my studio and hasn’t left since I got this.

let me know if you have any questions.

Would prefer London pick up but can post at buyers expense.

  7. Hey,

I was just wondering about whether the heat coming off of a lamp with a halogen bulb would be enough to warp a neck?

I have moved to a new flat and I have limited space to but my basses.

I have my bass hanging on the wall but there is a lamp underneath it (technically a few inches in from of it but shining from underneath)

I don't particularly want to move everything around in the room and I am not allowed to drill more holes in the wall.

But would the heat from the bulb be enough to warp the neck or cause damage?

Clearly, it is not like a radiator but is a minor heat source none the less.

But as I said, I like where it is positioned and I like the light shining on my bass so would prefer not to move it. See pics below.

    Many thanks

    Matt

Also.... don't worry, the radiator in the pics is turned off.

It sounds like a cool idea, no more tap dancing! Do you have a midi controller?
    [/quote]

I have a Korg nano pad which I have been using to experiment with today with the view that if it works l will look into a midi pedal controller. Not sure I have found the best/most efficient way but at the moment, I have things set up as an effects rack. Two loopers and three sounds that.

Seems like it could work pretty well.

  9. Not sure about looping in protools

Most people seem to use Ableton for that kind of stuff.

There's load of videos on different ways to use the software to do this on youtube.

I have been thinking about getting a looping set up with Ableton..... well I had the thought yesterday.....

  10. Yeah, Im not sure what kind of set up he has.

and you don't see him doing much with a looper ect. So I wonder if they are playing to a guide track - with parts taken out for when he plays. Then he arranges it to look like looping.

Or there is somone behind the scnenes....

He does do a lot of cool lopping in his other videos and you can see him using a midi controller.
