Hi there, I want to mount a pair of DiMarzio ultra jazz replacing the Mec on my Warwick corvette standard. I have successfully replaced pickups on fender jazz and fender precision before, but the Warwick wiring seems to be different (probably due to the volume, pickup selection, tone vs volume, volume, tone ).
the MEC dynamic control only have one wire( white in picture) while the ultrajazz have one red and one green wire.
can anyone help me with wiring this up?also a very silly question - the white wire seems to have 2 lines an outer wiring and an inner cable. Would they be the equivalent of the red and white of the di marzio ??
thank you all!

Hmmm. Do you have the stand for this?
No, this model is sold with the boomerang strap system, it is however compatible with NS tripod stands and end pin stands.

Without doubt Wood & Tronics are the best crafted instruments that I have ever played.
Selling because I have more feeling with 4 strings instruments and its a pity to leave this jewel unexpressed.

Hi everyone,
Im an Italian bass player from Napoli, moved to London almost four years ago.
I have been playing since I was 13...that makes a 20 years long relationship with the 4 strings!
Since December last year I have also started a new adventure with a Double bass
I am not too fussy when it comes to styles, as long as I feel the good vibrations.
My musical experiences are mainly related to: Rock, Jazz, Pop, Reggae/Dub, Blues and Folk
I love “grooving” and I have a natural tendency to approach the bass in a melodic way
My safe port is my Fender Jazz American Standard, upgraded with a pair of Di Marzio Ultrajazz Pick ups and a BadassII Bridge.
I have recently bought a Precision American Vintage Reissue '58 ...what a joy!
I also own two fantastic hand-crafted Wood and Tronics, a Choronos and an EJ fretless (sadly both on sale now)
During These 20 years I had fun with
Ibanez SDGR(my first bass, now my cousin's first bass)
Cort Artisan A6
Rickenbacker 4003
Spector Euro5 XL
Fender Roscoe Beck Signature
Epiphone Jack Casady
Precision American Vintage Reissue '57
Hofner Violin Contemporary
Gibson Thunderbird
My favoured amps are Ampeg and Marshall.....
Hope to meet new musicians here
All the best
Mario

Thank you 🙏. All done, but there is a little bit of clicking when touching the strings, closing the circuit, that I don’t think I used to have with the same pickups on another bass. Could this be caused by poor soldiering (very poor indeed) ?
