I'd recommend warwick's rock bags. Very comfortable, plenty of pockets for leads etc and great quality.
Whoops, the most important part- £410 (no price increase from when I was selling it a while ago as a result of currency fluctuations. Basschat (and its previous incarnations) has been to good to me over the years)
Great price for a very nice bass, how much do status energy basses usually go for 1st hand/new? -

Ha! I usually hit off some scales and arpeggios or just generally try to touch each note at least once. -

Had to double take on your name Deep Thought, first looked like a rude reference, welcome!

Apologies if posted already, but has anyone seen these videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BEHINDthePLAYER , there fairly cool instructional videos for bass.
Mike Inez from AIC has one, Duff from Guns and Robbi from Godsmack they all look really good quality, does anyone have one of these? -
That was a Wal over most of BSSM, if i'm not mistaken.
Yeah, he used both his Wal and his Ray' on BSSM, I'd go with what everyone else is saying about the RATM debut album, your bass tone will never be the same once you've heard that album -
Go for a wazz and I'm good.
Same , usually go for a leek, get a bottle of water or a pint, check I'm in tune/pedal board/lead is secure in the amp and I'm ready to go. -

Something About You - Level 42
Only recently got into Level 42 and Mark King. -
Looks horrible imo.

Very nice, the shape of the body and some of the features remind me of Claypool's rainbow bass by Carl Thompson, any sound clips of this bad boy?
I hoover up anything to do with them, the creme de la creme,Aja is probably my favorite album of all time and something i will neverever stop loving.Steely dan are proper music!.....Anyone who wants to argue,,,,play the bass line to peg properly.
Definately, every song on Aja has a great bass line, my favourites to play are Peg and Home At Last. -
That's really overpriced, doesn't matter if its from the 80's its still a squire and its definately not worth that amount.

Any primus song

Hi mate, a friend of mine used to give guitar/bass lessons. He was based in the city centre he is currently a drummer and you can visit his bands Myspace, probably best to drop him a message through there. He's a good player knows all his theory, hope this helps.
