How's about a Snapdragon folding bass?
That does look like the ideal solution. How do they sound?

Has anyone here had a go at this?

I have seen this. Which is similar to Aria, but not so expensive.

I do need something that can be knocked about a bit due to the odd locations I go to. -

I have an Aria Sinsonido and it's pretty cool, so that would get my recommendation.

Yeah they look very good.
Thanks for the info -
G'day,
I am traveling up to 8 months of the year and as such I am not able to play as much as I would like to.
Is there a small travel bass that anyone can recommend? -
Hello Folks,
I thought I would introduce myself
I have been playing for 20 years, but never with anyone else. In fact as odd as it sounds I only play in the house and never plugged into an amp either.
I have a PJB bass buddy (used once 6 years ago).
Bass wise I have a one off Wez Venables Vendatta bass http://wezvenables.co.uk/VendettaBass.html
Also an Atilla Balough Odessey
Cheers

Yeah have to agree that it is very well made and the sound is fantastic. The only issue I have is the neck is just the bit to fat for my liking.
For a 36 year old bass it looks a d sounds amazing. Sod it, I think I will keep it lol
