Hey UKLooney, that looks really neat - what exactly is it?
Very Mike Kerr, UKLooney! You found the humbucker you were looking for then, where did you get it in the end, The Creamery?

I've got a couple of 'modded' pups on order from Jamie @ the Creamery, turns out he did some work on Mike's basses. I found the one in this on ebay, from a member here, which originaly came from a starcaster. -

That looks great, really intrigued to hear how that sounds! Nice work!

I'll try and remember to post a quick video when I'm back from holiday.
Sounds way more awesome than I had originally hoped. -

Looks like a Royal Blood signature bass! I didn't happen to sell you the pickup and tuners on Ebay did I?
Yeah, that sounds right.
And thanks again for the quick delivery. -
Started as a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar SS Bass. Replaced the pickups with a Fender wide range humbucker, and a Gretsch 2202 bass humbucker. Also changed out hardware for a Fender high mass bridge and Fender modern player tuners. And a new pickguard from Sims custom shop.
Hope you like the pics

Hi,
Unfortunately not. However, I do see that they come up from time to time on Ebay and Reverb.com. My apologies. I wish that we had them available for sale.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. I had looked on both the Creamery and Oil City sites, but couldn't (still can't) find anything similar. I'm guessing they might do a custom order? The cans might be a problem?
I've not contacted fender, though I've had a good look through their parts list and also on their site with no luck. I'll probably drop them an email.

As for going vintage, I'm really looking for a shiney new modern pickup. -
Hi,
I'm looking to source a Fender Wide Range Humbucker, new or used. Anyone know where I can find these? I've tried all the usual places online.
These pickups can be found on the Fender Modern Player Telecaster and Fender Starcaster amongst others.
Thanks

Hi Steve. I'm too far away for a meetup. Are you up for posting it? Does it come with a case/bag?
-
Looks like this one. Great looking bass.
-
Wow. Prettier than I'd imagined.

Any pics of the vintage amber sunburst finish?

Might be priced a tad high, aren't these around £1600 new? Any custom options on this?
-
Hi, what kind of trades might you be interested in?
-
Nice. Bit pricey though...
-
Lovely bass. Check your messages.
-
That's a nice bass. You should consider the courier option.
