Brand new JIM DUNLOP Flatwound Bass Strings 45-105 Stainless Steel, Medium Scale, for sale. I just bought the medium scale length version by mistake, I took the E string out but never fitted it, all strings as new in opened packet. Doh. I paid £45 for these yesterday.
Price includes postage to UK.

I’d also consider the Trickfish Bullhead .5K. I tried most of the amps on your list and ended up with that one, pretty simple but sounds great. Really effective/useful EQ. That said, I’d have been happy with the Magellan too. I was pretty close to buying one. I come from playing through an all valve Bassman for years. None of the solid state amps I tried sound like the Bassman but I’d didn’t really expect them too!

I recently got the Trickfish Bullhead .5K after considering all the amps mentioned in this thread. Obviously everybody is looking for their own thing sound wise but for me the Bullhead won because right from the offset it just sounded great. Simple, effective controls, really nice DI and clean headphone out. I've got it paired with a Berg AE212 and it's surprisingly loud. The one amp I didn't try is the Genzler. I suspect I'd have really liked that too but I ended my search when the Bullhead turned up. Anyway, anyone considering the Trickfish amps should keep them at the top of their list!

I called about one today but apparently Bass Direct aren't doing Bergantino anymore and they sold their last one already. Looks like you'd have to order direct from the US.

I bought Mark's Stingray, no problems at all! Good communications and quick shipping.

‘These strings measure 34" from the ball end to the start of the silk winding.’
I don’t think I can return them as the sealed inner packaging has been opened.
