  1. Hi,

In my basses, I allmost have all I need. A very good Jazz, A very good MM, I just think à P would be the next.
But playing mainly 5, I just would like to know, in your opinion, what could be a very good P5 ?
    (Fender, boutique, ...)

  2. I know I will forget some but here is what I remember :

    Ibanez gsr 200 (4s)
Cort B5 (5s, not sure of the model)
    Yamaha TRB 1005 fretless (5s)
Aria pro II SB1000 fretless (4s)
    G&L L2500 (5s)
Ibanez BTB 1005 EOL (custom shop, 5s)
    JP basses Zia 5 (5s, walnut / macassar ebony / ... )
    Ibanez ATK 700 (4s, lovely bass !)
    Ibanez ATK 405 (5c)
Fender PB NAS (2009, press released, 4s)
    Fender JB NAS (2011, 4s)
PJB Status / warmoth (custom made, 4c)
Fender Marcus Miller 5 US (5s, I didn't like it)
L.KAH Dune 005-05 (what a sound, but too much strings for me : 6 )

And currents are in my signature.

  3. I think, no one is better that another.
Just a question of music style you play, and taste you have regarding sound of the bass in the band (and not alone)

But in fact, I think that you could cover any style with any bass in fact, the P , the J and the MM, could go everywhere.
I need all those three !

  4. Hey, welle done dude !

Those valenti are excellent instruments. I also have one and will not put it on the sale market.
    (same for my sadowsky)
And those will be the only two basses I will keep.

Any high end amp will suit this valenti, EBS, or anything in that range, but depends really what your tastes are.

  5. Thanks for the proposals, but nothing appealing me until now.
Concerning Bass gear, only 5ers, and no bass amp gear.

    Regarding questions :
Yes, I could sent it to everywhere in the world.
    It's a 34" scale.
    19mm string spacing.

    Thank you.

  6. Hi,

Here to sell or trade my skjold custom 92 pro 4.
Quite a rare bass in a 4 strings config.

    The specs :
    - swamp ash body
    - maple neck
    - white wenge fretboard (very rare thing here also, never saw a bass with this kind of fretboard)
    - EMG PUs
    - EMG Preamp
    - Light blueburst, matching headstock
    - And last but not least, à lightweight bass, weight around 3kgs, I don't have any scale, so cannot be more precise.

    Here a picture from Skjold's web :

    And here are mine :

This beauty is available for direct purchase or could be traded.
    As a trade :
    - bass 5 strings, plus cash my way.
    - Nord electro, don't know which one, but proposals are welcomed.
    - Guitar, preferably telecaster US, but open to proposals, plus cash my way.
    - whitewater kayak gear.

  7. I have tecamp gear since years ... and never changed it since I have it (2006 I think)

XS112 cab (8ohms) for rehearsals / training small pub concerts.
S212 cab (4 ohms) for bigger events.
And for large events : it's DI and the amp of the festival.

My sadowsky SA200 stays at home, it's a very very good tube amp, but with a little more weight - x10 ! so it's a very very good pratice amp at home ! :D
