I bought a fender bass from Giga via the basschat classifieds.

Enzo (Giga) is in Italy and took care of international postage and was great to deal with. Lots of good comms and even a YouTube vid. The bass was exactly as described.

How about the RAT Hotrod. Have a look on eBay as there are a few listed. No balanced DI though it seems, but does load the amp output and provides headphone and line out.
