  1. Alan Price AKA Catswhiskers pickups, make some really nice pickups.
    I've got some A4 PAFs in a 339 of mine,that sound fabulous
The Dimarzio 36 Anniversary set are very nice, as are the Dimarzio PAF masters
Tonerider PAF A4,and Ironheart Blue's engines are good value.

  2. Kent Armstrong also made pickups with hex grub screws.
I have a see thru Strat pickup in my parts cupboard, that's made by him,it must be 25 years old now at least.
The coil and magnets are sunk in to clear resin
What was I thinking ! Lol

  3. Fantastic seller!! the item came very well packaged and in very good condition (exactly as described), it was posted the day after payment was received and the seller went the extra mile by including high quality speaker cables as well as extra footswitch and power cables, he was polite and helpful as well as replying to messages quickly, answering questions I had regarding operation of the unit. highly recommended!

  4. I'm looking for someone to build me a copy of this pedal.
I have the original and use it for recording at home, but a few weeks ago I was looking for an Eq pedal for my gigging pedal board and came across this.
I tracked the original builder, back to the "free stomp boxes" site, and emailed him but I've had no response,so it's time to move on.
I'm just looking at a price at the moment to see if it's going to be a viable option,or look for something else.
I really like the aesthetics of the pedal ( keeping it very close to the original)
Plus I really like the mini 'Mooer' size for my ever expanding board.😆

  5. Hello,I'd really like to hear some opinions on the ramblings that I've listed below and anything else that anyone has any experience with.
I'm looking for a distortion/fuzz for my board,I already use an Xotic RC (always on) and an Xotic BB for valve grind tones, but I'm looking for something that is capable of more extreme tones.
Here's what's I've come up with so far.

    A) Source Audio - After shock
B)Sleeping Dog - Low end theory
    C) Wren + Cuff - Pickle pie b

I'm sure any of these pedals can do the job
But which would you go for,and why ?
I'd really appriceate your knowledge and input on this subject.

    Many thanks guys
