It sounds terrible when not plugged in.... Im sure its the pick ups. Any advise on replacements please?

Can anyone help with advice as i have bought an old Fretless RBX350 Yamaha however the Pick ups sound pretty lifeless/toneless.

Can anyone advise a goot set of pickups i can buy that would make this sound amazing?

so guys... I have received my Mark Bass New York 121. Unfortunately i had ordered it before my post. Otherwise i would have bought the Ninja. So i am really happy with the sound compared to my old Marshall MB210 combo. I went easy on the volume and may buy another cab as well so i dont have to worry.

But the sun is fantasistic and has given me the incentive to improve my sound futher.

I need some help as i am going to buy a Mark Bass Speaker 121 however am hoping this will match to My Orange Bass terror 500.
Any help or advice would be gladly appreciated.
