1. Hi All,#

I have an odd problem with my Rick at the moment where the A# on the first string just dies. every other fret plays fine but on the first string the first three frets up to that A# have a little rattle then the A# just rattles and dies quickly. no sustain on it at all.

Any suggestions on what this could be?

2. HI everyone,
Another of my things for sale, this time its a DigiDesign mbox 2 mini.
Its used but still in very good shape and still working. Bought it as a quick edit/overdub usage but not not getting used. Still working perfectly and a great little interface.

More info from SOS can be found here
http://www.soundonso...s/mbox2mini.htm

I also have the package with ProTools 8 along with the loops and training CD.
I cant test it on Windows however I have been using it on a mac running Mountain Lion (10.8) without issues. I will include the license and the update files for Mac and PC if required.

£40 shipped from Glasgow.

3. Hi Everyone,
Clearing out some of the gear I'm not putting to use.

Here we have a Line 6 Pod x3 live. Its working perfectly as far as I can tell. and sound brilliant on Guitar and bass, I loved the dual tones as I got some really heavy tones out of it.

Specs can be found http://line6.com/legacy/podx3live

As mentioned its perfectly functional and no major marks. Comes with power supply and gator gig bag for it. I think I also have the manual lying around but its easily found online.

Looking for £140 shipped from Glasgow.

A bit of Financial woes and a lack of doing anything musical these days means only one thing, its time to move this bass on, its one of the most versatile and option filled basses I've played. No matter what Im trying to play.
Its been mine since new and used for gigs and recording. Never had any issues finding my sounds with this.

Specs from the ESP site are as follows:

A few notes on this.
The first is the low B tuner has had the shaft replaced after a knock. no impact on the basses playability however the peg is now a tad bigger than it should be so in a straight line the B and E pegs overlap by about 1mm. Its never been an issue for me though since its rare that ever happens.
Second is a small crack in the paint at the 2 lower knobs, again never an issue and seems to be common with this bass.
and finally the usual wear, a couple of minor scratches on the back but nothing to hinder anyones playing and nothing more than what you expect on a second hand bass.

In my view its a great bass and suited me perfectly. Sad to see it go but its a must unfortunately.
Looking for £250, would much rather collection as I only have a basic gig bag for it at this point (thats probably too small) but will happily consider posting or delivery to major cites :)

5. Not digging the site to be honest.
To me it seems cramped and bit thrown in.

Few changes I would suggest are
- Make the surounds white so it all flows in.
- Add some space to the top. The logo is right up the top and blends in with the photos at the top.
- change the navigation at the side from black to white with the grey highlights. The black draws you away from the content.
- enlarge the content section by shrinking the navigation bars.
- space things out - it all seems very busy (granted some colours aint helping) but its drawing my eyes all over the place and I lose focus on the important part.

Hate to be this critical but you did ask for an opinion :D

6. If your projecting onto the whole wall then its fine but if your using the screen for anything thats where it annoys me.
The screen and the wall start to merge when your focusing on whats on the screen and you loose the edges, a bit of colour breaks it up and keeps the focus.
plus from your point of view, you just spent money on a screen. white wall means lazy people don't need it.

And white walls show the dirt :)

7. I would say paint the wall with the screen another colour than white.
White will not only show the scuffs but I also find it isnt a good colour for a projector wall. You cant see the borders properly and its to bright.
Give it some colour to distinguish it and i think it would be better.

But then that is my personal preference.

8. Go with the student version - the MP only works with m-audio hardware where as 10 will work on any hardware. Also with the student version you get 4 years of updates. so when PT 11 comes out with 64-bit support its all yours!
