I sale this beautiful Yamaha 6 strings. I prefer to sell it because i only play 4 strings basses and it's a shame to let it sleep in its case. I had the same before (but 5 strings version) and even if it was a incredible bass, this one sounds 'deeper', B string is awesome, it's a monster tone, a pure bass sound (see comments on google you will find easily informations about what i write here).

- 3bands eq + piezzo + volume + PU balance (no passive mode)

- Yamaha double coil Alnico PU

- Ash body with bubinga table top

- Neck-trough construction (maple with mahogany)

- Ebony fretboard

- 24 frets / 35" scale

- Original Yamaha hardcase

- 5.3kg (very well balanced)

- 18mm strings spacing

Strings are still original ones, i don't change them for the sale because they still sound bright... This basse was barely played 2 or 3 hours (maybe less) since the buy in 2008 and produced in October 2007 (# 57). I cleaned it yesterday and i saw no scratches on it (see pictures they speak for themselves), quite incredible for an over 15 years instrument.

I let plastics covers so they can be remove by the next owner 🙂 .

Full set up done - low action 1.3mm (B string) / 1.5mm (C string)

I sell this Vigier excess in perfect mint condition (maybe played 4 or 5 hours since the buy in 2008). Original strings have been replaced yesterday for the sell but they're still bright so i let them inside the case (pocket) and future owner will have them in case he prefers light ones (40-95). I put ernie balls cobalt on it (45-105) and it feels really much more reactive and powerful. No trussrod (10/90) because of the graphite reinforcement (this neck is straight and never changes its position because of the  weather or strings you have changed !).

You have to know you can't order a Vigier anymore, Patrice Vigier is retired now so here one of the last absolutely new ! Full set up and cleaning have been done too (intonation, strings spacing... and  garanted dust free 😄).

Specs : alder body/ flamed maple neck (34" / 24 frets + zero fret) and  fingerboard/ 2 bands preamp Benedetti (18v) - no passive mode/ color : antique violin/ matte vernish neck (feels like a mike lull or a sadowsky us neck, really sweet), 19mm strings spacing, 4.1kg, original Hiscox case.
