No problems fitting them and they sound good - a lot better than the old ones. A little hard to compare being flatwounds vs roundwounds but they suit the fretless much better I think.

OK the Carwins they've arrived... let's see what they sound like!

Those Carwins are a 6-pack - I might give those a go

£28 - that's half the price of the Thomastik ones... -
The Thomastik ones are £54 at http://www.dv247.com/guitars/thomastik-jf346-6-string-bass-guitar-strings--211136?gclid=COiD19Oit8QCFfQZtAod-3gAww

Hi chaps,
My google-fu is weak.
I'm looking to get some flat-wounds for my 6-string, and I've been recommended DRs by several friends. However I'm struggling to actually find a 6-string set.
Perhaps I should get a 5-string set and try and find a separate high c string?
What's your thoughts?
Cheers,
Matt -
Bought a Sandberg off Andy. No problems whatsoever. Cracking guitar, packaged well and delivered very quickly. Very happy!
If you message him and nothing comes back in a day or so, hang on - he's often on a cruise ship but always answers when he's able to get internet.

A little looser, but not floppy.
