1. Afternoon,

Up for sale is my Ashdown Mag 200 1 x 15 combo and separate 2 x10T cabinet. I've owned these from new, having purchased them at Sound Control, Glasgow (Remember them?), in fact I might even still have the receipt somewhere. This Is the original made in UK stuff, and is in excellent condition with no rips or tears in the fabric, no dent or scrapes, having been lightly gigged.

The amp is 200 watts and the separate cabinet is also rated at 200 watts.

Ideally I'd like to sell both together, but am willing to split them, I which case I'd put the combo at £100 and separate cabinet at £50 I'm selling as I need the space and they're not getting used so no trades please.

I'm based about 10 miles outside Edinburgh, you're welcome to come and try before you buy. Any questions, get in touch.

    Stuart

  2. Welcome Rhodri!

Now that you've discovered bass (And Basschat), I'll gladly take any old Fender Telecasters or Gretch Brian Setzers you may have spare off your hands for a tenner!

  3. Evening,

Up for sale here is my lovely Lakland Skyline 55-01 Deluxe. I bought this new a few months ago and really like it, however I'm not getting on with the feel of it. This is due to a combination of my short sausage fingers and the 35' scale and wide string spacing which I thought I would get used to, but haven't. Being a few months old it's in unmarked condition with no dings, bucklerash or anything else, in fact it hasn't even left the house.

Sound wise it's great with a good variety of sounds and is very punchy. It has bass/mid/treble, volume and pan controls and a passive mode. The 35' scale helps with the b-string which sounds great.

I'm looking for £565 including P & P and I'll include a new set of Rotosounds I bought for it.

Tradewise, I'm interested in a Warwick of some description either 4 or 5 string or a Fender Jazz (CIJ or AM), with a small cash adjustment possible. In the absence of these I may entertain other basses, try me! (No fretless though...!)

    Any questions, please ask.
Of course they do great gear, but they do have sell their products well below other manufacturers products and they aim there products people who want value for money. The usual bling is missing as is usually the case with other companies, and that is what i meant figuratively. the sentence wasn't meant to be a complete statement, " ..................." ; an inverse epithet of some sort, certainly not. I just want to try and make the advert appeal to people looking for the usual pedigree/big name amps that are usually on the bass amp shopping list. As we know, reputation isn't always a guarantee.
Fair enough!
