Where did you get the bridge and how is it fastened to the body?
I got the bridge from Ali. It's fastened with screws, nothing special there. I only needed to allign correctly offcourse.

I've been working on this for months. But it's all done now!
I've talked about modding a BB into BB-Ray on this board before.
I've bought a BB-350 (which is an excellent player!! that neck!!) and modded it into a stingray.
I used this preamp kit: https://www.musikding.de/Classic-Bass-Preamp-Preamp-kit
This is a original stingray '77 clone 2EQ. And it sure sounds like a Stingray!

Do you ship to the Netherlands?

Can you send to Netherlands? If so, I might be interested in the Mooer Ninety Orange!

I'm looking for Yamaha BB templates. Both for the body and/or pickguards. Want to mod a BB as my next project, but I need a good idea first ;). Who can help me with a template or exact measurements?

So I have these Fender reversed tuners on my p-bass.
I'm thinking of replacing them for 'normal' tuners, there are many options.
But before I do so I want to be sure that these new tuners will fit.
But I can't find any specifications about the fender reversed tuners.
Not even Fender has sizes mentioned (bushing, pegs,...):

Can anyone point me in the right directions?
Thanks! -

Just received an amazing Yamaha BB1000 from Nick.
Communication was really good and the bass was everything he told it would be an more.
Nice guy! Recommended! -
Humbucker add on a jazz bass
in Repairs and Technical
Posted
Im thinking about adding a humbucker to my jazz bass as a third pick up.
Something Ive seen on 90s basses from Jeff Ament. Or something like Billy Sheehan would do with a gibson style mudbucker.
My current jazz bass has a series/parallel switch already. How would I wire such a pickup (a Dimarzio model One for instance) on a jazz bass with series/parallel switch. Can it be done with three stacked (volume/tone) knobs? And perhaps 1 or 2 toggle switches (one for series/parallel j pickups + one for serie/parallel the humbucker PU). Infinite sounds....
Would something like this work? And what PU's would you recommend?
Something like this picture. Only with a third stacked knob for the humbucker and perhaps a serie/parallel toggle.
