  1. I just bought the most fantastic bass off Martin. It was exactly as described and he has been a great guy to deal with. Comms were fab and transaction was smooth. A great bass chatter.
    Recommended!

  2. I purchased another bass from Gary and I met up with him this time to pick it up. Gary's comms were spot on throughout the transaction. He was clear and concise and responded very quickly to my messages.
The bass was better than Gary described, I am absolutely thrilled to bits with it.
Gary is an utter gent and an absolute pleasure to deal with, I couldn't have asked for a smoother transaction.

  3. Just purchased bobs beloved G&l sb1 and had a very smooth transaction. The bass is better than expected and bob is a top chap to deal with. I will happily recomend him as a seller and will not hesitate to do business In the future. Thanks again mate

That looks pretty genuine to me; Greg was one of the early Wal team in the Pro model era..

Nice bass by the way! :)

Thanks man! was it usual for them to sign and date the pro1 body's? I know they do with modern wals.

  5. So, today I decided to strip my beloved Wal pro 1 bass to give it a good clean and set it up and I decided to take the pickup out to have a gander. To my surprise the inside body was dated June 81 and was signed by a chap called Greg.
The serial number on the back is P.B1183 which according to the wal data bass says the instrument was made in 1978.
Could this mean that the neck and or neck plate are non origional? Any hep would be great! Many thanks
