1. Offered is my Spector Euro 4LX 4 string bass bought new from Andertons in October 2017.

It has the Aguilar active pickups which are a bit less fierce than EMGs.

It is in near perfect condition and comes with a soft case (may be able to find a hard case if preferred).  On re-photographing today I did find 2 small dings on the lower side of the body that I have tried to photo but they are tiny, otherwise I can't see any others.  Finished in dark cherry red with gold coloured hardware.

Sound wise it is very flexible and can do everything from Prog to Funk as seen by players such as Billy Sherwood (Yes) and Doug Wimbush (Living Colour)

I'm only selling because (look at the other listing) I have 2 basses for which I no longer have any use so am selling them both

It is in Shropshire and I'd rather meet half way or deliver than post due to value.  Someone asked about postage and to fully insure it with UPS to the value within the UK would be £105 - hence the suggestion to meet halfway or deliver at cost (Electric Vehicle miles!)

  2. Offered is my Dingwall NG3 5 string bass bought new from Andertons in October 2019.

It is the Nolly Getgood signature 10th Anniversary version which means it has a built in Darkglass active circuits and the 3 refers to 3 pickups.

It is in near perfect condition (i.e. I have had a good look at it and can't see any marks) and comes with a substantial Dingwall soft case (it is the one with the label on top of the cupboard and the stock photo shows what it looks like).

Finished in matt silver and black.  It is currently loaded with new Rotosound Swing Bass strings professionally set up by my luthier.

The fan frets are not an issue and take very little time to get used to.  Sound wise it is very flexible but particularly good at the Periphery sort of technical metal which of course is what Nolly is famous for.

I'm only selling because (look at the other listing) I have 2 basses for which I no longer have any use so am selling them both

Paste below for the official write up.

  3. Have you still got it?

If so I'll gladly pay you £275, do you have a Paypal account or could transfer directly into your bank account.

    Few questions

    a) Would it be OK to pay on Wednesday as we have to move some money from an account and there is a few days delay?
    B) Where are you based, I have some contacts who may be able to collect it
    c) Or if not could you post and we'll add the cost to the price, Parcelforce charge about £25 with extra insurance to cover the value. If you're not comfortble with posting it if you could put it in its gig bag and wrap some cardboard around it we could arrange for a courier to collect it from you?

My direct email address is [email protected]

Many thanks and hope we can deal

    Regards

  4. I've just bought a German 1990s Streamer LX a badly warped neck (I did know this the guy advertised it as such!)

    Does anyone know

    a) Do Warwick (or wanyone else supply new or reconditioned necks? Have asked them but no reply yet
    B) Does anyone know a good guitar tech/luthier in the South of England who may be able to help - I've been quoted £500 ish so far - that may be OK but wondered if anyone knew anyone else?

    Regards

  5. One or two people asking if I'd swap - possibly for:

4 string

Active pick ups

Hard case

"modern" so Warwick, Spector or other more boutique brands

IMPORTANT - has to be relatively light

Not a Fender, Gibson or Rick (already got a Fender Jazz deluxe and they don't come much better than that)

Possible cash top up for something that is worth more than the £600ish that the Status would definately go for - up to £200/£300 on top

Has to be UK - can't see how we can effectively swap unless in this country!
Cheers

  6. Offered is my Status Eclipse 4 string

    What is it?

Before Status started making only graphite basses they made wooden ones with graphite truss rods.

    This is one of them!

It has the same classic body as a what became the B2 and features Hyperactive Status active pick ups and a great EQ.

This one is the dark brown slightly sunburst effect which will show in the photos that I'll attach later on.

Comes with quite a well padded gig bag that is practically new (but not the cat in the picture!)

Virtually immaculate - one or two tiny scratches but nothing very noticeable.

Great classic British bass with the early Mark King sort of tone you'd expect.

Will post at cost or it can be collected from Reading, Berks, UK.

£650 cash or would consider a high end Warwick with active pickups e.g. Streamer LX or Jazzman

    Photos to follow!
