In some of the pubs I've played, putting a bucket on the stage would be a bad move

I use M-Audio AV 40's. Definately worth checking them out too.

Hi all
I'm fairly new to bass playing but I've played sax and keyboards for 30 odd years.
I gave up gigging in 2002, and for fun started learning to produce tracks which meant getting a bass and laying down some simple basslines for me to solo over with tenor sax.
Last year a friend asked me to play some bass for him at a party. I said ok and driving that low end has woke me up again.
A few more gigs have surfaced, no one in the band is a diva, so off I go......
