1. The bass can be modified to be used with a passive tone control. The bass and treble can be put on one stacked pot and a passive tone with a push/pull for preamp bypass can be added.

  2.
I posed the question a while back Sadowsky v Valenti - look I got to find out. The wooden floor is Nino Valenti's... the duvet's mine....
Nice pair you got there!!!!

  3. The Big Singles are my favorite Nordstrand pickups. I've been meaning to change the EMG's out of the Black Valenti for a set of big Singles but I've been busy building basses for others.

I had them in this bass (man I regret selling this bass) and, IMO, it was everything a single coil J pickup is but more greatness..... :)

  4.
I have grown quite accustomed to looking at your floor Nino. Welcome!
I've taken pics elsewhere but when ever I posted pice people would comment about the floor. :) So now all pics are on the wood floor.

  5.
Ah Nino, welcome. What took you so long?
Taste_2000 told me about this place a while back and I looked around but never got a chance to sign up. Better late then never. :)

  6. Hello my fellow bass playing brothers in the UK!!!!! I just completed a bass for fellow member, PlanetHead, so I figured I'll come over and see what's going on here. BTW, here is PlanetHead's bass:

Well, I play Valenti Basses (obviously :)), Sadowsky basses, Fender Geddy Lee bass, Aguilar cabs with a Fender BassMan 400 head, Fender BassMan 400 Combo.
