That is lovely. If it were the 4 string version I would be on my way round to you now with a pocket full of notes.

Bass EQ on the Marshall all the way down??????? Where's the fun in that? That might be an ok scenario if I were playing stadium gigs and the tech was setting up and lugging my stuff about, but I am trying to keep the set up a little bit more minimal. Your suggestion is, however, noted sir.

You know what, you might be on to something there 3below. I may have a go at unplugging the speakers and running it through a couple of different bass cabs.

Hmmm, that's what I was thinking. Shame though, sounds so good.

Anyone ever used a Marshall Bluesbreaker as a gigging bass amp? Somebody borrowed my TC rig and for want of a practice amp I plugged into my Bluesbreaker. It sounded awesome!! Such a warm and natural sound. They are loud amps, which I know from playing guitar, but I don't know how they would fare at gig volume with a low B on the five string rattling through it.

In fairness, it is the London BASS GUITAR Show.
I'd like to see Yamaha amongst the exhibitors: finding their basses to try is quite hard in my experience. I can't believe that they can't afford the show fees.

Fair enough fella. We'll just leave those awkward looking upright things out of it then eh? Lets just plug in and get loud. -
One performer I would like to see is Adam Ben Ezra. Something for the acoustic low end followers amongst us. That would make a change from the norm.

Oh heck! Everything I find that interests me, is the other end of the country.......aaaaaaaaargh!

Where are you based? I was looking at one of these a while back but I decided against the brand new price tag. At this price however......

I'm gutted I'm at the other end of the country, I'd love to have a blast through that. I'd love a proper Marshall from the era I had hair.

Have you still got it?

Newcastle is a bit of a trot for me. Damn.

Have you still got it and where are you based?
