2003 SUB bass made in San Louis Obispo,California. Slab bodied, 2 band active EQ, textured teal finish, black painted neck. Pretty much the same as a regular 2EQ Stingray apart from the lack of contours and the finish.Excellent condition throughout.

2. Hi all.

I'm relatively new to bass so I wanted to ask fellow forum members about this guitar.

http://www.gak.co.uk/en/warwick-thumb-4-bolt-on-pre-owned/114284

Is that a good price for a good bass? Pros and cons?
I'm mostly blues+rock player and I want a quality bass for practice. I owned a Sterling by MM sub Ray and quite liked it. I've played Warwick bass once but unfortunately cannot remember which model was it.
I know You guys know Your stuff so it'd be great to hear your opinions.
Kind regards

3. Hi.

Sterling by Music Man SubRay4 in Walnut stain finish. Purchased new at Anderton's in Arpil this year as a present. Used for some studio work, but at home I play other bass and it's up for sale now. Love it but it doesn't get played and takes much needed space.
Apart from few sessions it's barely used, frets in perfect shape, no dings or scratches on the body, set of new Ernie's on, comes with a gigbag.
Sounds great, controls of 2 band eq gives You variety of tones, build quality is really good hence raving reviews.

Guitar is located in Bournemouth, UK and You're welcome to try it out.
£210 with UPS tracked postage.
Any questions please PM.
Thanks!

4. Hi all.

Just found this forum and quite like it, You seem like a good bunch of people and some really good information here too :)

I'm totally new to bass world, been playing guitar for years, but never had a bass. I just had my 30th birthday and I was thinking about treating myself with something nice. I decided to get a bass guitar and give it a go, as I hope it'll open my musical horizons and I could develop as a player in general. I always loved the bass sound and I think I will dive into low frequency world instantly :)
So far I ordered myself an entry level bass guitar which is new Sterling by MM SubRay 4 in Walnut finish with rosewood board. I've seen online reviews only and it seems to be quite all right. I'll give it a go and probably figure out what kind of a bass suits my style best - I might just fall in love with that one as well, who knows :)
Anyway, nice to be here, hope You'll get on well with Ol'Bear...

Kind regards,

Kris.
