  1. Hi all, sorry for any upset caused here, I have explained that the payment is only a request and not a demand and is to cover some of the cost of producing images/artwork/webpages plus inclusion in accompanying price lists, mailing lists, facebook etc plus the time in taking calls/emails etc. In future I will make it clear that if a bass does not sell there may be a small cost involved. I think I have only asked for this twice in nearly ten years of trading so maybe I need to look at it again :-)

  2. We now have the new Eich Amplification 500 and 900 amps in stock. The prices are pretty much the same as the old Tecamp prices - a little higher due to the currency change. They looks super cool and sound as good as ever. We will get them up on the site very soon but they are in store to buy/try :-)

    That's just mad...

And it's your fault I've just bought a Deko Kahuna uBass clone... Hard not to when you're getting it for £39 delivered. The Aguila strings alone are £25-worth!

The platform contains transducers that vibrate the platform and gives you the feeling of (massive) bass with virtually no noise. Ideal for players who use "in-ears" or those who have to play at low volumes and miss that "feeling of bass" also great for studio work and home rehearsing. This is the small pleasureboard, there is a medium and large ;-)

  5. Hi all - nearly set for the off tomorrow - we will have a good selection of basses and some new toys :-) Lots of great deals this weekend on various items. Bring your earplugs - although we are all headphones again this year :-D
PS - If there is a specific bass you want to try please let me know as we are limited on space!

Hi - Jim Bergantino designs his own drivers - these are not "off the shelf" jobs. They have a very high damping factor which makes them very efficient and they don not bounce around - this is generally associated with lesser quality, inefficient drivers. Check out a high end PA rig and you will notice the same lack of flapping :-)

  7. Hi all - okay these will be available in April, the 112 will be around £600 and the 212 around £950 - prices tbc depending on exchange rates etc. Thera era exactly the same sized boxes as the current 112 and 212HD cabinets but lighter. I am not able to comment on tone as I have not heard them but would assume that they will be on par with Jim's already impressive heritage of amazing cabinets :-)

  8. I had a great Meeting with Michael Tobias at NAMM as I have three basses in production, I also had a chat with Andrew Gouche who was demoing on a couple of booths at the show. Norm Stockton showed me his new signature Saratoga bass (we have the Kingston version in stock which just kills and is under £500!!). I am confident that these will appeal to players looking for a bass for a gib range of gigs and especially suited for those who work in covers bands, gospel etc :-D

  9. Hi all, seasons greetings. All our UK large items go with APC on weekday next day delivery. We have had a couple of issues this week due to the Christmas rush so I apologise if there was a delay on your shipping. It is always best top call and pay in the shop, and if you have a problem always call me as sometimes shipping can be resolved by a quick call to the couriers.

Have a great Christmas one and all.

  10. Thank you for the support guys, very much appreciated. I have been selling the MTD Kingston range for some time now and felt that the USA models were just too tempting. Michael Tobias is a real gentleman and a real icon in the bass industry and we had a lot of fun putting together spec's for the first batch of basses. I am going out to NAMM in January this year and will be meeting up to discuss further basses and get to meet the man himself. I know there are a few of you guys that already own an MTD and I am htrilled to be his agent in the UK.

Please contact me if you require any further information.

    Regards

  11. Hi all - a bit of a mystery this one - both units have been check ed and silent and work perfectly, I have only had small issues with players suing these near wireless network hubs, but again only a couple and issue was very slight. I have been using a pan system for 18 months all over the UK in venues and not had one problem. I am sorry the OP has had this issue but it would seem to be a rarity and not the norm,

    Regards
