  1. USA made 2009/early 2010 American Standard Fender Jazz For Sale.

Right handed passive bass, with string thru-body and high mass bridge. All completely stock set up - no changes/mods (apart from it being strung with flat wounds currently).

Comes with Fender moulded TSA case in excellent condition with fully working latches and key.

The only reason I am selling this (and I have deliberated over it for many months) is because I'm emigrating to Malaysia in a few weeks and have decided to take only one bass with me. I have never gigged with this, it has rarely left the house and it has rarely been used over the last few years. It’s beautiful to play, no dead spots on the neck at all etc...

I always look after my things and it truly is in mint condition; there is barely a fingerprint on it and if you were to buy it could easily be considered brand new.

No swaps. PM me if you have any questions or want more photos etc…

    Thanks

  2. Tronographic Rusty Box for sale.

It's taken me a few days to decide to flip this but I'm selling kit I don't use anymore. It's a great pedal, but I simply don't use it as I mostly just play straight into my amp these days. It's in absolutely mint condition, comes with UK power supply and I've got all the original packaging.

It's a couple of years old, has been well looked after/rarely used and has never left the house (never been gigged or even taken to studio etc ). As I say, condition is as you would expect from brand new, expect if you take this off my hands you don't get hit with another 25 quid odd customs duty if buying direct from US.

    £140  - inc P+P

  3. Empress Compressor for sale.

I bought it about 2 years ago as an impulse buy and have used it literally once or twice. It's in absolutely mint condition and the only reason I'm selling is to buy myself a new record player. I've got all the original packaging (expect for 1 sticker which came with it).

As I say, like brand new condition and it has been well looked after/rarely used.

£190  - buyer covers P+P (if the location is suitable I'm happy to drive a bit to meet someone half way if it makes things easier)

  4. Hi - I hope this question isn't too lame. I've got a Rusty Box I use for the drive channel to give me a really gritty and aggressive tone. I want to keep the volume and tone, but limit it when it gets messy (not explaining this well?). I want to keep the low end that the rusty box does well, have the gritty layer on top but kind of keep it under control. I think a compressor would do this? I had an MXR supercomp a few years ago and it was hissy and I just couldn't use it (found a lot of tone suck? - probably me not knowing how to use it though)

There's a short bass line here at 1:15 that sums up what I'm talking about - it's driven and gnarly, but not roaring out uncontrollably

  5. Sorry mate - no trades. I should have put that in the post.

I've tried an Earthbound Iron Pig, Rat Tail and other distortions and fuzzes and sold them all - I'v always found there is a discernible low end loss - which is to be expected.

The Rusty Box gave me a really gritty, aggressive tone that always cut through but there was always that low end punch. It is a quality pedal that I would not be selling if there were more hours in the day
