Not so sure on the Ashdown pedals, never been a huge fan.

Hi Folks,

I have just sold my Fuzzrocious Rat King pedal as It was not the sound I hoped for!
I am looking for another pedal that will growl through the music if you know what I mean?!

I am hoping someone can recommend the Tech 21 Sansamp Bass VT?
I have been thinking about this or the Ashdown Nate Mendell pedal!

If anyone has either for sale or can recommend, give me a shout.

The part that blew my mind was how good a low-ish setting into my Bass Big Muff (which can sound a bit stale on it's own) and then through my 2x15, made the practise room shutter outside rattle, this thing is a serious piece of kit!

This is good news! Mine arrived today and it looks the part.
Cannot wait to get to rehearsals on Monday and get it all setup with my new head.
Monday is normally a sh*t day. Not this Monday however.

I am glad to hear this all as it was a expensive piece of kit,but so worth it.

I am new to the Fuzzrocious range and wondering if I am better with a momentary or latching pedal. This applies to the new Rat King that Joes pedals are selling. Want to make sure i get the right one! Playing hardcore/metal style music.

Have an idea that the Fuzzrocious rat tail is my weapon of choice, however getting one at a decent price may prove tricky. My second choice would be the ashdown lomenzo, followed by the mesa boogie flux. Anyone looking to trade plus cash etc please drop me a message. Not really sure how many people would really be looking for a boss pedal though to be honest!!

I play in a hardcore punk band,normal tuning, orange t500 with Fender usa P-bass. Think bands like the bronx and sick of it all.
I feel that the odb-3 is not aggressive enough and have found myself adjusting the pedal sounds a lot and never being that happy!
Anyone play/played in these types if bands and used distortion pedals?

Hi Guys,

Just a general bit of general opinions if anyone has a minute.

Just wondering what type of distortion pedals (If any) you guys use?

I am hooked up with the classic Boss odb-3, but looking for something either a bit more powerful or with a different tone all together.
I know different tone would normally be a random thing to say for distortion related noises, but any opinions much appreciated.

Ashdown have released a 'nate mendell' signature distortion pedal, but no idea what it's like or even worth looking into?

Bought a orange T500 from Dave. Glad i joined BC as I was looking for one of these for a while now at a decent price.
Great guy to deal with and had the head sent out via courier right away. Delivery due Thursday, but have absolutely no reason to wait for
delivery to leave feedback as any issues will be out of his control!
