Hoping someone may be able to advise. I am building a MusicMan (OLP) 5 String Bass, using existing neck. I bought a 5 string Seymore Duncan but at the point where it needs to be placed the string width centre to centre is 63mm and the pickup is 67mm! Is this too far out? Or can I get away with it? Do I need to buy narrower MusicMan style pickup? Any recomendations. Help Appreciated
