    Polyphonic Octave Generator 2 Pedal

Back in 2005, Electro-Harmonix unveiled the original POG, a polyphonic octave generator that enabled guitarists to conjure everything from the surreal jangle of an 18-string guitar, to rich, thick walls of symphonic sound.

The POG2 will take you even higher. Use the new attack control to fade in lush, smooth swells. Tune in the new second sub-octave to reach deeper than ever before. The 2-pole resonant low-pass filter now includes two additional Q modes. Slide in the newly enhanced detune to further refine your sound.

The POG2 delivers unrivalled tonal variations—and now you can save your favourite settings, and recall them with a click. The POG2 just plain sounds better, thanks to an enhanced algorithm that delivers a more focused and in-the-pocket harmonic performance. And all this is now packed into a rugged and pedalboard-friendly die cast chassis.

  3. Tech 21 VT Bass DI Bass Pedal

    £100 inc UK delivery

    VT Bass DI

For the pro on the go, the VT Bass DI covers a lot of ground in a small footprint. This multi-function, multi-application format features three different outputs. You can complement your current rig, record direct, drive power amps and go direct to the PA. Just throw it in your gig bag and you’re ready at a moment’s notice.

Like its sibling, the original VT Bass, you can get the same legendary tower of power tone pumping through a stack of 10-inchers. This is for players who enjoy being heard. From chunky funk with the ubiquitous flip top, to the higher gain growl of indie rock. Want more? Lean on the Character control for the fat distortion of Crimson and King’s X.

The VT Bass DI incorporates a Blend control to adjust the ratio of direct signal and SansAmp circuitry, and a Bite switch to engage a presence boost and a subsonic filter.

With the VT Bass DI, you can go from clean SVT®-style thump to dirty earthquaking rump. No matter which way you dial it in, it all sounds massive.

  6. Amptweaker TightDrive Overdrive (with dry low Mod) bass Pedal

    NOW SOLD

The Bass TightDrive was the first Amptweaker bass product, and introduced the Tight attack control.

The Bass TightDrive™ overdrive pedal came about after Greg Weeks from The Red Chord tried out the ‘guitar’ version at the NAMM show. He really liked it, and after some tweaks, this final fine-tuned Bass version is now ready for the public. It’s perfect for tweaking your bass amp’s tone, anything from tightening up the attack a little to building a thick distortion for pick-driven metal bass lines.

In addition to Greg, other artists using the Bass TightDrive include dUg Pinnick of King’s X, and Sean Frankhouser with Bugs Henderson.
The biggest number of Product Idea submissions received so far were from people looking for overdrive and/or boost pedals that could provide tighter low end. This led to the Tight Control, which allows you to adjust the amp’s attack, varying it from smooth and singing to chunky and aggressive attack.

When combined with the Gain, Tone, and Volume controls, a lot of different distortion sounds are possible. The tonal variations range from thick bass tones, from barely clean and fat walking blues, to crunchy rhythm sounds, all the way up to seriously overdriving your tube amp for really heavy bass. It’s also possible to use it to clean up a tube amp that might otherwise sound too floppy when you play it really hard.

Another popular Bass TightDrive feature is the rear effects loop which allows you to add any kind of effect to this overdrive pedal, so you can customize your tone further. There’s even a Pre/Post button underneath the pedal so you can move the outboard effect in front of or after the Bass TightDrive. When you bypass the TightDrive pedal, the other effect or effects will be bypassed as well. This feature is great if you want to further tweak the distortion tone with a Pre or Post EQ, or to add compression in front, or an octaver, chorus or other favorite effect.

This version of the Bass TightDrive features an extra knob on the face that adds dry lowend back to the tone, making it easy to simulate professional dual amp rigs as used by artists like dUg Pinnick.

  7. Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah pedal

Now SOLD - - £65 Inc UK Delivery - In NEW condition. I bought this for a project that never got started and I am selling as I need to raise cash for a new bathroom :(

See below for a bit of info on this pedal...

Part of Ibanez's Tone-Lock range, this is an incredibly versatile wah pedal. Built using the same bomb-proof cast metal housing as the rest of the series, the WD7 Weeping Demon is unique in that it combines some of the hottest wah features around in just a single unit.

    Operation
The most ingenuous feature on this pedal is a mechanical lever that enables you to change between conventional switching and the auto-on style switching that Morley made famous. In true Tone-Lock style the control knobs for level, Q and Low frequency boost can be first set and then pushed into the unit to keep them safe from accidental adjustment.

In addition to the main tone controls, the WD7 has an extra range control to aid compatibility with seven-string, down-tuned guitar and bass. Another feature immediately noticeable is how fast and easy it is to pop a battery in this pedal. No screws, just a push button and the heavy-duty function switch flips open to reveal the battery compartment.

    In use
With variable Q and fine-tuning controls you can dial in any wah tone you want. The WD7's real draw is its ability to switch between manual and auto-on operation. With the auto switch engaged a spring returns the wah to the off (fully back) position for you, so all you have to worry about is your expressive use of the pedal.

It also includes pedal friction, spring tension and an auto-off delay setting to ensure seamless return to effect-off playing. A most versatile and funky-looking wah, and an absolute bargain.

  8. Quote

Our singer of 3 years now still insists on having his lyric book on a music stand when ever we perform.

I'm not sure if it's just a comfort thing because he seems to have nailed the delivery of all the material, but i'm never sure how muso audiences feel about this plus it's always visible on any photos we have which is a bit of a shame.

Hes got a great voice so we don't want to rock the boat as it took quite a while to find him after we parted company with our last frontman.

Whats the general consensus of opinion to this and is an ipad attached to the mic stand any more acceptable?

    It looks really amateurish

  9. Its a little strange getting used to the light weight. I also have a wimbish signature spector and that is heavy and solid compared to this. I play downtuned in my current band so, the tone of the Dug bass fits it well.

Im not of the list for the pedal, i shall have to have a look at that... :)
