1. One of these.

Perfect condition in box. Selling because I don't use it. It's had less than an hour use.

This is a great loop pedal, I just don't need one!

I can post pictures if needed.

Located in Leeds but can post at buyer's expense.

2. Selling my Ibanez SR600. Based in Leeds.

This is an awesome bass, the action is nice and low with no buzz. This is the model with Bartolini pickups so the electronics are great. The preamp is very versatile. It's super lightweight so is great for long gigs and rehearsals.

This has been gigged and has signs of use. I've taken some close up pics to show the scuffs.

Selling this because I need to thin the collection and raise some money to buy a new stage piano.

Could possibly post at buyer's cost but would prefer collection in person.

3. I'm putting out a feeler out with this, I wouldn't be devastated if it doesn't sell because it's awesome. But at the same time I need to raise funds to buy a new stage piano.

I think this is the only one of these in the country, so it's not something you can get hold of easily.

Located in Leeds, could potentially post at buyer's cost but would rather collection in person.

Alder Body
Bolt on Maple Neck
2 Farida Stock Jazz Bass pickups (Hand Wound - Single Coil)
3 Ply Pickguard
864mm Scale Length
Open Back Farida Machineheads
Farida Fixed Bridge
17mm string spacing (by my measurement)
Just under 5KG by the bathroom scales

It sounds and plays like jazz basses I've played which cost > £1000.

I don't really play this often enough to justify keeping it as I'm more of a 4 string guy.

I've posted my pics but Farida's own pics do it more justice than mine. It's in perfect condition.

Love this. The black hardware really sets it off.

Thanks! It's come out exactly as I hoped.

The control plate is actually chrome, not black as it looks in the photo. The rest of the hardware is black though.

5. I agree with the others. If you like tinkering it's a great way to get a cheap, good quality bass, and it's good fun.

But for selling they're rarely with the sum of their components. Unless you find a buyer who happens to want exactly what you've made.

Very nice!
What's custom about the build? Compared to their stock 'Human Nature' builds.

A few things.

- Black hardware but chrome control plate.
- chambered body
- matte finish
- fender knobs
- neck dimensions (38mm nut, 20mm deep at 1st fret, 23 at 12th.

Love the simplicity! And refreshing to hear good news about the out of the box setup :)

Congrats!

Well I do like a low action. But this isn't ridiculously low. And it's not close to buzzing. I can attack the strings a bit without unwanted noise.

It was in tune when it arrived too so I guess it didn't shift in transit.

8. My custom Elwood arrived today!

I'm proper chuffed with it. The craftsmanship is excellent and it plays like butter.

The setup out of the box is perfect for me too, which is unusual. Usually I've got the allen keys out within 5 minutes of opening the box.

Many thanks, WoT. Yup, I'm pretty stoked about the way it looks to have turned out, too, and can't wait till delivery day - paid the balance last night. How long does it usually take from final payment to delivery, btw? Or perhaps there is no usually?

I got my picture and paid yesterday lunch time. I got my shipping notification this morning. Expected delivery on Friday.

So once the payment arrives it should be quick.

If I ever see a Mark Hoppus bass in a shop, I'll certainly give it a try, especially if it's the less visually offensive white-blonde model. Interestingly, I saw a video posted on another thread with Scott Devine and Chris May from Overwater talking about a new P bass they have specced together, and they've gone for a reversed pickup.
FYI: Scott's bass is still in the prototyping stage and he's not yet convinced by the reverse P. So there's a good chance it'll be a standard P pickup when the final model is revealed.
