Hi There, Im looking for a pic of a '70's Hofner beatle bass from the side as I want to see the shape of the neck as it goes over the body.Im having to replace this together with the fretboard section as its been hacked off.Dont go there......

I would really appreciate if some of you good fellows could do this for me as I cant find the angle pic on the net?

Your answers are wrong!!
1) no set relief, its down to how the client wants it to feel?
2) you change the nut if the slots are uneven?
What do you think nut files are for?

Ps didnt K11 say it was a Full set up you had?

Well, to be fair, a lot of new guitars frets do need sorting so what you say isnt really valid?

That would be a very basic set up then?

Do you level frets etc,cut nut slots with the CORRECT files,what relief do you aim for,for say a 71/4" rad neck?

New here.
I just wanted to know if anyone had the finish lifting and cracking on a stingray bass?
Ive a customer who bought one to my workshop and it was in a dreaful state!!

The black poly had massive cracks and was starting to peel. I removed it with an acoustic bridge knife (no solvents or anything)
Underneath was a layer of sticky green whatever it is lol???

I removed that and underneath was another layer of clearcoat.

I contacted MUsic Man and thier reply was `its delamination`.no really??
