Had one a while back but I would look for a s/h Sterling Sub. The shape of the Vintage one just looks wrong to me.
Get a Sub and stick a Stingray sticker on the headstock
I concur with this.

I don't often go into PMT in Norwich as I'm not keen on the atmosphere but I did today and majority of the basses and amps didn't have pricing, telling me to enquire at the till. I'm not in the position to buy gear but if I was, it would have put me off.

Got the Ernie ball Cobalt Flats, had em on about 2 hours, so far really great, tension is perfect and just the right brightness, thanks guys x
Pleased to hear that. I've been considering changing my strings recently (I've had the same set of Cobalt Flats on for coming up to 2 years now) and I really can't think of anything else to swap to. It's going to cost my a fortune next month!

I went for natural but vintage white was a very close second.

Old age? Worn out? If it was me, I wouldn't be concerned if it is the only fuse to have blown, if it keeps blowing a fuse, then I'd be concerned.
Disclaimer; I am not a professional, nor do I have any engineering degrees/qualifications.

If you’re looking for someone to do relicing, this guy does some cool work.
Very nice work there, particularly like the Mark Hoppus P Bass

Cracking find there! Out of curiosity, had inflation affected the cost greatly (compared to 2008)?

These are fantastic offers guys. I wish I counted as a worthy cause but GAS does not count

Hopefully this is returned to someone if it is stolen, but the biggest question is why do they need the Zoom when they have the other pedals?

Sounds like a job for EB Cobalt flatwounds, modern, bright and lower tension.
Seconded.

I bought this 3 years ago and it's never missed a beat, only use for practise though. Lovely quality, would buy again.

I'm sad to have said that I've never played a gig in my life. I would like to change that but bands I've played/jammed with have never got that far.
Now struggling with the motivation to get to the point of gigging/practising.
Anyone got a violin? 🎻
