1. Do any of you MIJ P bass owners know where I can get a BRIDGE MOUNTING SCREW for my 1991 model. I attach some pics for reference. As you can see the screw I am looking for is slightly bigger than the American version, this is becoming a nightmare!

2. My advice, bite the bullet.
Over the years I have been back and forth, trying to compromise with cost and result, believe me, you do not get there,
Take a serious look at NORSTRAND pickups, the character of the tone is faithful but the clarity is somehow enhanced, somehow the sound is all "under the fingers",
is this not what we are all looking for?
As a very good alternative you should also speak to CURTIS NOVAK if you can explain what you want he can make em, 'phone him,

3. Hi everyone, I am new to basschat and I am keen to "chew the fat" with anyone re: tech info.
I have a 1991 MIJ vintage Fender P bass. When I got the bass the bridge was totally seized up and would not adjust or intonate.
When I came to remove it one of the five screws that hold it to the body was snapped.
I have made the repair but cannot source a replacement screw of the correct size.
I had some Fender screws sent from New Jersey USA - too small, then I had some sent from Germany - again too small. Fender say these are correct but not for my model, what is going on?
Does anyone know anything about this problem -can anyone help?
thanks
