Hello,
My dad and a few of his friends are putting together a gig to raise some cash for one of his friends son who is in need of an operation in the states. Ill add some links at the bottom of this post for more info.
My dad has asked me to put together the bands so just wondering whether anyone's band would be up for playing.
We have an originals band booked in but would like to have a covers band or bands in to cater for everyone's taste.

Hello,
I'm looking to trade my VX115 for either a 2x10 or 4x10 cab around the same sort of quality, would love to match the cab with the head.

Nice track Garymilitia, shame I got images of Monty Python in my head. It was the 'bring out your dead' line.
I like playing Anouk's 'Modern World'.

I can't hear the sample, but try changing the battery? When my battery in my 6er is starting to go, i hear it more on the B string..

I agree, you can get Squiers w great quality, some better than Fenders, bla bla bla...but it is what it is, it will always be...a Squire
see what I mean...£300 for a MIM, that's a sweet sale that is. you went for a different bass though, would you honestly pay £300 for your used MIM P?
I agree with you there, it is a squire and it say's squire on the headstock, it doesn't say fender. But I feel that the Jazz feels the same, if not better quality than the P.
With regards to the price, I don't think I would have paid £300, but I think it's only worth what people are willing to pay for it. It just so happened that someone was willing to part with £300 for it. -
I just recently sold a MIM P on Gumtree for £300, then went out an bought a VM Jazz 5 string
-
After some searching last night, thats correct. Pickguards are fine, and the pickup covers are from marcus miller basses, nothing for the bridge though.....
-
I wonder if I can easily source a tort guard and p/up covers for my VM Jazz 5 string....
-
Last bump before its listed on the bay.......

You need to get yourself a copy of this book: http://www.amazon.co...33428876&sr=8-1
I have this, its a brilliant book. -
Bump, this is still available...

Sorry Monstermick, I haven't been able to get to a computer the details are:
its a 2004/5 Mexican made bass, there is a small crack in the lacquer by the neck, but this is just the lacquer, which is quite normal for fenders (according to the forums) plus there are a couple of screw holds by the bridge where there was a thumb rest fitted (which can be included if you want it)
I've had the bass since 2006/7 where it was my main bass, but since buying my 6 string I haven't touched it.
Plays really well, could do with a new set of strings and a set up though (strings have been on there years)
