2. Just to say Iam now the proud owner of a bergantino HS410 which I bought from stevefletch59.
He let me audition the cab with my band and was very impressed , so thanks for that Steve.
So now I have the cab I just need a warm and fat amp to power it , any recomendations ? The hartke sounds ok but not really powerful enough.

3. Thx for replies everyone
Had a look on http://ibanezregister.com and the only one that looks like mine is this one http://ibanezregister.com/images/BASSES/im.../sr400rb-99.jpg
Whats throwing me though is the gold coloured bridge and tuning pegs. I wish they would have put the dam model number on the headstock like mostly everyone else does
The reason I ask about the model name is that i would like to sell it , but until I know which Ibanez it is then i have no idea how much its worth.

4. Many Thx for all your replies , I really appreciate your advise.
I think i will take up stevefletch59s offer of listening to the Bergantino HS410 first and see how it sounds.
And then possibly a trip to Matamp in Meltham and see what they have.
Not really bothered too much about cab weight.
I may have to consider getting a more powerful amp though If I was to go for the Bergantino HS410. I bought the Hartke 3500 head about 5 years ago and to be honest I have never had the chance to listen to anything else .It has been a good and reliable head.

Once again many thx to you all..

5. Hi All.
I currently own a hartke 4x10tp and a 1x15tp powered by a hartke 3500 head
Have had this set up for a while and Iam thinking of upgrading , will probably keep the head but cab wise I would like something with a bit more bottom end.
Been looking at the EBS 410 Proline Bass Cabinet , but its really difficult to decide as there is no dealer near me where I can check out some cabs.
Any advise would be most welcome.

6. Saw them in Leeds last Thursday. I thought £27.50 + £2.75 booking fee was a bit steep though.
They always sound great live , seen so many bands recently where the PA/sound was pants , usually all kick and a boomy bass end.
You would think with all the tech advances in sound gear it would get better.

7. Simon Raymonde - Cocteau Twins.... Nothing fancy but very hypnotic/melodic.
Colin Moulding - XTC... Mayor Of Simpleton , nuff said.
Mark Burgess - The Chameleons.... Inspired.
Andy Rourke - The Smiths.... Forget Moz and Marr.
Paul Gray - The Damned... Love his bass sound on The Damned's The Black Album.
Segs Jennings - The Ruts... Very Underrated.

8.
I'll say it here as well.

Rick Anderson - The Tubes

One of my favourite bands who I will always make time to get to see at least once (if not more) when they are over here
+1 The Tubes. What Do You Want From Live is an amazing album from start to finish.
Rick Anderson and Prairie Prince are as tight as a knats chuff (Whatever a knats Chuff is lol)

9. Hi Everyone
I have a Sansamp tech 21 rack module and would like to use it with my Hartke 3500 head and was wondering what would be the best way to set them up.
many thx for any advice/suggestions given

Turtlemoon

10. Just bought a tech 21 sansamp R.B.I from them.
Arrived within a week , very good with email replies , same day.
Good thing about them is that you get a 3-year warranty at no extra cost , not a lot of companys offer the extra 2 years in addition to the standard 1 Year manufacture's warranty.
